  • Jeffrey Yellin

    Jeffrey Yellin (Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Stonybrook University 2006) has been certified as a strength and conditioning specialist through NSCA, as a sports performance coach through USA weightlifting association, and as an active release technique practitioner through ART.

    He was an original 10 partner of one of the largest outpatient physical therapy practices in the northeast, helping the company grow from 6 to over 170 locations.

    Jeff has also assisted in the rapid growth and compliance of various healthcare companies nationwide providing consultation and speaking services to clinicians and upper management.

    He is widely experienced in working with professional athletes across all the major sports leagues and fighting federations for rehabilitation, injury prevention, and strength and conditioning services. A renowned leader in the field of physical therapy, Jeff's expertise can also be found in various top lifestyle publications including Bustle, SELF, EliteDaily, and Shape Magazine.

  • Ariel Feitel

    Dr. Ariel Feitel attended Northeastern University, obtaining both a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehab Science and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015 and 2016, respectively. She began her career working as an outpatient physical therapist, focusing mainly on Orthopedics. Dr. Feitel further developed her niche interest in treating patients with diagnoses relating to the spine and decided to specialize in both adult and pediatric Scoliosis. In 2017, Dr. Feitel became a certified Level 1 and 2 Schroth Physical Therapist through the Schroth Barcelona Institute. Dr. Feitel has presented nationally on Schroth-based physical therapy to several Orthopedic Doctors and medical teams at top medical institutions. Dr. Feitel chooses to rehab her patients with a full body approach, with the idea that the entire body is connected. Dr. Feitel is also interested in women’s health and Pilates and has been certified to treat a variety of Pelvic Health issues through Herman and Wallace in all three levels. Being a mom herself, Dr. Feitel understands the necessity of both pre- and post-partum rehab, spanning the entire body. She is certified through Balanced Body in level one Pilates, infusing the exercise style into her daily work, and is available for scheduling throughout the Long Island territory.

  • Frankie D’Aversa

    Frankie D’Aversa is a board-certified Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from Suffolk Community College in 2013. He has worked in various settings, including in-patient rehab at St. Charles Hospital, and a variety of orthopedic settings from outpatient sports physical therapy clinics to the professional level, including Major League Baseball. He was hired as the assistant rehabilitation coordinator for the St. Louis Cardinals, serving from 2015 to 2017, and is the current Rehab Coach for the Long Island Ducks professional baseball team. He has worked intricately with numerous MLB baseball players and other professional athletes, earning their respect and trust in healing and injury prevention. Frankie prides himself on taking valuable lessons away from each therapy session and combining them with his skill-set to provide a great foundation of knowledge and experience to provide PT care safely and effectively, and is available for scheduling throughout the Long Island territory.

  • Craig Yellin

    Craig Yellin has worked across multiple healthcare facilities nationwide in all aspects of administrative and billing responsibilities. With over 30+ years of experience, Craig’s knowledge and expertise allows him to address any billing, insurance and/or financial topics that may arise during your time with American Edge Physical Therapy in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. He is here to answer any questions you may have before, during or after your time as a patient at American Edge Physical Therapy to help you feel as comfortable as possible throughout all the stages of your journey with us to allow you to focus primarily on your recovery.

  • CHRIS COSTELLO, DPT, SCS, OCS, USA-W, CSCS, TPI medical-3:

    Dr. Chris Costello earned his Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences in 2003, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2006 from Stonybrook University and has continued to pursue his professional development by earning his Orthopedic Certification Specialty (OCS), and his Sports Certification Specialty (SCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the NSCA, a sports performance coach through USA-Weightlifting Association, and TPI certified medical level 3. Chris is a former Naval Hospital Corpsman with a passion for fitness and health, and a love of all things Golf. Chris tries to focus on overall body movement, performance and patient well-being when working with his clientele. Chris is available for sessions throughout the Long Island and Queens territory.
